About Dominic Heath

Dominic is a devoted husband, father of two, and proud Fallston resident who believes our schools should put parents first and put politics away.

Dominic and his wife moved to Fallston in 2020 to raise their family in a community they believe in. Their son attends Youth’s Benefit Elementary School, where Dominic has been an active PTA member for four years. For two of those years, he served as Fundraising Chair, helping bring both resources and meaningful community events to the school. Alongside his co-chair, he helped launch the popular “School’s Out Fun Day,” partnering with local businesses like Mountain Run Golf, Rita’s, and Earth, Wood & Fire to create opportunities for families to connect while supporting their school.

His commitment to education isn’t political — it’s personal.

A Story of Resilience

Dominic grew up in Dundalk as the oldest of three children. His parents worked opposite shifts for years to provide every opportunity they could. There were days when one parent came home just as the other left for work — quick hellos and goodbyes that reflected sacrifice, love, and determination.

His educational journey included both private and public schools. He experienced academic success, setbacks, gifted programs, bullying, and systems that sometimes failed to intervene early enough. He also saw firsthand that labels don’t determine quality — that both public and private education have strengths and challenges. Those experiences shaped his belief that schools must communicate clearly with families and intervene early when students struggle.

Then, as a teenager, his life changed overnight. After experiencing extreme fatigue, Dominic was rushed to Johns Hopkins Hospital and diagnosed with childhood leukemia. Doctors told his family that had they waited another night, he likely would not have survived. He was given a 10% chance to live. For weeks, he remained isolated in a hospital room without an immune system, completing schoolwork by speakerphone and mailing assignments long before virtual classrooms existed. He spent much of freshman and sophomore year in and out of the hospital for treatments and procedures.

He survived and the experience shaped everything that followed.

A Career Built on Service and Accountability

Inspired by the healthcare professionals who saved his life, Dominic dedicated his career to industries that help others. Today, he works in pharmaceutical supply chain management, bringing over 21 years of experience in budgeting, planning, project management, and financial forecasting.

He currently leads large-scale supply planning operations, ensuring critical manufacturing processes remain uninterrupted. His work requires transparency, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources — the same principles he believes our school system deserves.

Why He’s Running

Dominic’s life has been shaped by sacrifice, perseverance, and second chances.

He has seen education systems fall short.
He has seen them succeed.
He has lived through adversity and understands the importance of resilience.

He knows what it means to work hard for every opportunity.

Most importantly, he believes we can build schools that are transparent, responsive, and focused on student success.

Dominic isn’t running because of politics.
He’s running because of parents.
Because of children.
Because of community.

He believes there is hope for a stronger future — and he is ready to work to make it a reality for every family in Fallston and beyond.
